The Mira Bhayandar police have booked a builder, Sanjay Ratilal Jain, for delivering flats to buyers in an incomplete building in 2010. Despite flats being incomplete, Jain failed to complete pending works for over 15 years. According to the Maharashtra Ownership Flats Act, convictions in such cases can lead to imprisonment for up to three years or monetary fines, or both.
