Around 200 families living in Noida's Gardenia Gateway society in Sector 75 were served eviction notices by Union Bank of India after the developer, Gardenia India, failed to repay a ₹78.45-crore loan. The bank's August 5 notice asked owners to vacate apartments by August 20. The bank, however, withdrew the notices on Wednesday after outrage over the matter.
