A building collapsed on Wednesday in the Pimpri-Chinchwad area in Pune after heavy rain, with at least 15 people feared to be trapped under the debris. The building collapsed at around 1:45 pm, triggering a large-scale rescue operation by the fire brigade. National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) personnel have also been deployed to assist in the search and rescue efforts.
