Presenting his maiden Rail Budget in Lok Sabha on Tuesday, Railway Minister Sadananda Gowda proposed bullet trains; Mumbai-Ahmedabad sector has been identified as the first route. The minister also proposed WiFi systems on all A1 category stations, and RO drinking water in trains and on stations. Moreover, he allocated Rs.1,780 Crore to eliminate unmanned level crossings.
