Burberry is the first luxury brand to be facing backlash in China over international brands' positions on Xinjiang cotton. Chinese actress Zhou Dongyu has terminated her contract with Burberry as the brand's ambassador, saying it hasn't "publicly stated its stance". Meanwhile, Tencent Holdings removed Burberry's plaid design from the clothing worn by characters in its video game 'Honor of Kings'.
