The residents of Pallipuram village in Kerala have built the Uddannan Memorial Bus Shelter, a bus stand in the memory of a stray dog named Uddannan, who died in April 2016. They chose the particular place for the bus stop as it was Uddannan's "favourite" spot. The villagers reportedly also performed a ritual after his death.
