Malvani police arrested Parvez Ahmad Amiruddin Syyaid, a 48-year-old businessman, for allegedly smuggling 6.398 kilograms of ganja worth ₹1.5 lakh. Police spotted a suspicious individual in front of Darshan Building on Jankalyan Road and found the ganja in his possession. Parvez Ahmad Amiruddin Syyaid confessed that he possessed it for sale and had brought it from Visakhapatnam.
