North Bengal’s Buxa Tiger Reserve has launched its largest wildlife survey, running from Dec to Mar across 760 sq km. Sixty specialised teams with 450 infrared cameras will monitor animal movement, behaviour and habitat changes after recent natural disasters. Study aims to gather long-awaited proof of Royal Bengal Tigers, improve conservation strategies, strengthen ecosystem restoration efforts.
