Responding to an audience member at a conference, who said he couldn’t send his mother videos on her Android phone because of restrictions on iPhone SMS messaging, Apple CEO Tim Cook said, "Buy your mom an iPhone." Cook added, Apple doesn't spend a lot of effort improving the iPhone-Android texting experience as its users haven't asked for it.
