BWSSB has introduced strict water conservation rules in Bengaluru amid the growing water crisis. Residents and establishments using drinking water for vehicle washing, gardening, construction, road cleaning, or swimming pools will face a ₹5,000 fine. Buildings must install aerators and flow restrictors, while repeat violations could lead to reduced water supply and additional penalties.
