BYJU'S-owned Aakash has appointed former Pearson India MD Deepak Mehrotra as its new CEO. This comes around seven months after former CEO Abhishek Maheshwari quit in September. "In his role as CEO, [Mehrotra] will be responsible to deliver on our aggressive growth plan and to build on the significant momentum the company is currently experiencing," said BYJU'S CEO Byju Raveendran.
