Education technology startup Byju's has acquired TutorVista and Edurite for an undisclosed amount from global education company Pearson. Bengaluru-based TutorVista, which was founded in 2005 as an online tutoring firm, acquired educational CD seller Edurite in 2007. Byju's has raised close to ₹1,300 crore in equity and debt funding since its inception in 2011.
