TikTok's parent company ByteDance is in preliminary talks internally and with investment banks to list its short video app Douyin in Hong Kong, Reuters reported. The video-sharing app Douyin is the Chinese equivalent of TikTok, since the latter is not available in China. Earlier, ByteDance had reportedly considered the possibility of listing its Chinese business in Hong Kong or Shanghai.
