ByteDance might miss the deadline imposed by the US administration for the sale of TikTok's US operations owing to new Chinese regulations that have complicated negotiations with Microsoft and Oracle. The bidders have asked ByteDance for clarity on the regulations that prohibit the export of certain artificial intelligence technologies, reports said. The executive order for ban is September 20.
