Local tourist taxi drivers under the All Khasi Meghalaya Tourist Taxi Association staged a sit-in, demanding a policy restricting out-of-state cabs at tourist spots. President Recaldinus Dohling said repeated talks with the government yielded no result and warned of stronger action if concerns remain unaddressed.
