Cabinet approves four laning of 7 high-density railway network projects

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said the Cabinet has approved four laning of seven high-density railway corridors. These include the Delhi-Howrah, Howrah-Mumbai, Delhi-Mumbai, Delhi-Guwahati, Delhi-Chennai, Howrah-Chennai and Mumbai-Chennai routes. He said that around 2,000 km of work has been finished, while the projects covering another 5,000 km are either underway or have received the approval.
