Cabinet approves Integrated Transport & Logistics Authority for infra projects

The Union Cabinet approved the Integrated Transport and Logistics Authority (ITLA) to unify transport planning across roads, railways, ports, aviation, and waterways. It will prepare a 10-year National Transport Master Plan, appraise projects worth ₹500 crore-plus, and create a National Transport Data Repository integrating GST, FASTag, and GPS data.
