The Union Cabinet has approved two semiconductor projects in Gujarat under the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM), with a cumulative investment of about ₹3,936 crore. Crystal Matrix Limited will set up a compound semiconductor and ATMP facility in Dholera for mini/micro-LED displays. Suchi Semicon Private Limited will set up a facility in Gujarat's Surat to manufacture discrete semiconductors.
