Cabinet nod to 10-yr extension of SC/ST quota in LS, Assemblies: Report
The Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved the proposal to extend the SC/ST reservation for Lok Sabha and State Assemblies for the next ten years, as per reports. The reservation was set to expire on January 25, 2020. The Centre will bring a bill to extend the reservation in this session, the reports added.
