Caffeine makes morning workouts easier: Study

A new study in the European Journal of Applied Physiology finds that a small caffeine dose (3 mg/kg) boosts strength, power, and endurance in resistance-trained men especially in the morning when performance tends to dip. Caffeine improved output in exercises like squats and bench presses without raising muscle activation, suggesting it enhances performance through central effects.
