Cairn Energy has seized 20 Indian government-owned properties in Paris after securing a French court order, to enforce the $1.7-billion arbitration award it won in a tax dispute, the Financial Times reported. The company will reportedly transfer ownership of the 20 properties worth around $24 million, Cairn was quoted as saying. Earlier, it sued Air India to enforce the award.
