A US appeals court has ruled that California can enforce bans on firearms in bars and parks but cannot do the same in hospitals. The court also said Hawaii can ban guns on beaches and private property, open to the public, without explicit permission from the owner. Both states can't enforce firearm bans in banks or adjacent parking lots.
