A 21-year-old California man, Adam Dandach, on Monday pleaded guilty of providing material support to the Islamic State and making a false statement on a passport. He further pleaded guilty of trying to travel to Syria last year in a bid to join IS. He was arrested in Turkey last month and may face upto 25 years in federal prison.
