Animal welfare advocates have claimed that California-based retailers are selling soccer shoes made from Kangaroo skin, despite the ban on sale of kangaroo meat and leather. "K-leather soccer cleats are openly sold...by various retail stores," the lawsuit filed by animal welfare advocates states. "These stores make no attempt to hide the fact that these products contain kangaroo parts," it added.
