California-based autonomous delivery startup Nuro has laid off around 300 employees, representing about 20% of its workforce. "We doubled the size of our team in less than two years...assuming the funding environment would remain strong. This was a mistake," Nuro's co-founders said. The startup raised $600 million a year ago that increased its valuation to about $8.6 billion.
