California-based health tech startup Truepill has reportedly conducted its fourth round of layoffs this year. The company's latest job cut affected around 65% of its workforce across the engineering, HR, design, IT and finance teams, TechCrunch reported citing sources. A worker was reportedly told that their role was "no longer sustainable due to economic factors".
