On being asked by Microsoft Co-founder Bill Gates about India's vaccination campaign during COVID-19, PM Narendra Modi said that he followed all the protocols as an example. "I made..calls...[for] thali bajao (clang utensils), diya jalao (light lamps) despite ridicule. It was crucial for me to unite everyone," he added. He further said that all this made it a mass movement.
