Ringo, the low-cost calling app launched last week, suspended all domestic calls indefinitely until it gets clearance from Telecom Regulation Authority of India (TRAI). Under TRAI regulations, Ringo's strategy of connecting calls using conference bridges after aggregating voice minutes in bulk is not allowed. Network providers have reportedly started blocking Ringo calls using back-end support.
