After Pakistan signed a mutual defence pact with Saudi Arabia, Pakistani Deputy PM Ishaq Dar said if additional countries join the agreement, it "could become a NATO-like alliance". Dar added that several Islamic countries had already shown interest in joining pact. As per the pact, any aggression on either Pakistan or Saudi Arabia will be considered an attack on both.
