Actor Arya Babbar reacted to his half-brother and actor Prateik Smita Patil dropping Babbar from his surname. "You can change your name, but you can't change your identity," he added. "Tomorrow, if I wake up and change my name from Arya Babbar to just Arya, or even Rajesh, I'll still be a Babbar, won't I?" Arya further said.
