Can cucumber help with glaucoma?
short by / on Friday, 27 June, 2025
While cucumbers offer hydration and antioxidants, there’s no evidence they reduce intraocular pressure or prevent optic nerve damage in glaucoma patients. Evidence-based treatments remain essential. Cucumber can hydrate and refresh, but it won't treat glaucoma. Use prescribed drops, eat leafy greens, and get regular eye checks. That’s how you protect vision.
