Can fruits reduce Parkinson's disease risk?

Flavonoids natural compounds found in fruits are known for their antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, which may help protect brain cells from oxidative stress, a key factor in neurodegeneration. “These findings do not directly translate into proven benefits... no controlled trial has demonstrated that eating fruit can prevent Parkinson’s disease,” Dr Arjun Shah, neurophysician, said.
