Dr Anand Mohan explains that long working hours, desk jobs, night shifts, poor sleep and unhealthy diets may indirectly increase cancer risk by contributing to obesity, inactivity and circadian disruption. He stresses that these work conditions do not directly cause cancer, but healthier workplaces, regular exercise, balanced diets and timely screening may help reduce risk.
