Recent studies show that a thicker neck-over 17 inches in men and 14 inches in women-is linked to higher risks of heart disease, diabetes, and sleep apnea, even in people with normal BMI. Researchers say neck circumference is a simple, non-invasive marker to identify hidden cardiometabolic health risks early.
