SEBI Chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey said the regulator "cannot just shut down weekly F&O expiries" as many market participants are using them. He stated that measures on F&O trading will be rolled out in a phased manner. SEBI will do further data analysis on the weekly options issue before making decisions, he added.
