The UN said in a report that if Israel-Hamas war ends tomorrow and Gaza returns to status quo before Hamas' October 7 attack, it could take 350 years for it to be rebuilt. Prior to war, Gaza was under Israeli and Egyptian blockade imposed after Hamas seized power in 2007. Over 40,000 people have died in Gaza since war began.
