Canada changes rules for student visas

Canada has now raised the minimum amount of money international students must show to get a student visa. This new requirement will greatly impact Indians. For study permit applications submitted on or after September 1, a student applying to study in a province other than Quebec must show over C$23,448 (₹16 lakhs approx.) in funds for living expenses.
