Canada, with a coastline spanning 2,02,080 kilometre, has the world's longest coastline. The Canadian Arctic Archipelago, which consists of 36,563 islands, contributes to the total length of the coastline of Canada. Indonesia, with a coastline measuring 54,716 kilometres, and Greenland with a 44,087-kilometre-long coastline, have the second and third longest coastlines respectively.
