Canada has introduced two new immigration programs to attract skilled workers to rural areas and Francophone communities. The Rural Community Immigration Pilot (RCIP) and the Francophone Community Immigration Pilot (FCIP) will provide pathways to permanent residence for workers filling critical jobs in 18 communities, aiming to address labor shortages and preserve linguistic diversity.
