Canada's Ontario province on Friday declared a state of emergency amid protests by truckers against the COVID-19 mandates. Ontario Premier Doug Ford said he will "urgently enact orders that will make crystal clear it's illegal...to block and impede the movement of goods, people and services along critical infrastructure". Ford also pledged new legal action against the protesters.
