Canada's Telesat sealed an agreement with SpaceX to launch its low-Earth-orbit (LEO) satellites in 2026 to prove global broadband service from space in 2027. "It is another big step forward on our path to get Lightspeed up there," Telesat CEO Dan Goldberg said. Telesat picked SpaceX because it had "best combination of price, performance, reliability and schedule tempo," Goldberg said.
