Canadian athlete Daundre Barnaby died at 24 in an unfortunate swimming accident on Friday. He was swept by a strong current during a training camp on the Caribbean island of St Kitts, after which he drowned. A 400m Olympic runner, he was sixth in his heat at London 2012 and reached the semi-finals at last year's Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
