Canadian woman breaks world record for lowest note sung by a female

A Canadian woman has set the world record for the lowest note ever sung by a female when she sang a C1 note, the lowest note on a regular piano. On her wide vocal range, Joy Chapman said, "Because I could sing so low, I was the resident male." Previously, the lowest note sung by a woman was a D2.
