Prashant Kishor's Jan Suraaj Party has moved the Supreme Court, challenging the Bihar Assembly election results and seeking fresh polls. The party alleged that the direct transfer of ₹10,000 to women voters under the Mukhyamantri Mahila Rojgar Yojana during the Model Code of Conduct was illegal. The petition also questions deployment of 1.8 lakh women beneficiaries at polling booths.
