A group of 10 lawyers urged the Ministry of Home Affairs to revoke Nora Fatehi's work permit amid ongoing row over 'Sarke Chunar Teri Sarke'. Calling for her deportation from India, the letter stated that Nora has been "misusing the privilege of her stay in India". It further called the song "offensive to public morality and the dignity of women."
