Cannabis use linked to dangerous 'scromiting'

WHO has issued a warning about Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome (CHS), also called scromiting, a severe side effect of chronic cannabis use. Patients experience intense, continuous vomiting and screaming, risking dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, and kidney failure. High-THC products, vapes, and edibles increase risk, especially among youth. Awareness and cessation of cannabis are crucial.
