Canon, Sony, Huawei, Oppo launch joint imaging patent programme

Canon, Sony, Huawei and Oppo have launched Tulip Imaging, a new licensing programme offering access to more than 1.25 lakh imaging and information-processing patents. Social media and e-commerce are among its initial target sectors. The programme aims to simplify access to technologies spanning imaging, computational photography and information processing while creating a new commercial channel.
