CAPF rejects candidate for being '1 cm short', HC orders re-measurement

Gauhati High Court has directed authorities to re-measure the height of a CAPF constable candidate whose candidature was rejected for being one centimetre short of the prescribed 165 cm. The court noted that although he appealed the rejection, there was no record of a fresh measurement before his appeal was decided. The candidate had applied under the 2025 recruitment process.
