Speaking about India's unequal growth, former RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan said middle and lower-middle classes are not doing well. "Sales of passenger cars are going through the roof and have gone past the pre-pandemic levels," he said. "[But] two-wheelers are what the middle-class drives. They have been growing really slowly for the last decade," he said.
