Carbs improve endurance in low-carb athletes: Study

A new study in Clinical Nutrition shows that athletes on long-term low-carb diets can still improve endurance by eating a small amount of carbohydrates 30 minutes before exercise. This quick carb boost helped performance more than multi-day carb loading, suggesting timing matters more than total intake for enhancing workouts.
